Located on the east side of Cheyenne, the Historic Wyoming Hereford Ranch is a working cattle ranch typified by lush meadows, mixed grass prairies and a year-round creek that traverses the property from west to east. We offer the perfect location for your dream outdoor ceremony and reception, with beautiful grounds and three unique venues available. We can accommodate small wedding sizes or larger parties up to 500 guests. So whether you envision saying your vows amidst picturesque scenery or celebrating inside one of our venues, we have the perfect setting for your special day.

Wyoming Hereford Ranch is a beautiful property for your outdoor wedding ceremony, with several spots perfect for photos – red barns, meadows, streams, and tree groves. In addition to the outdoor options, the Ranch also boasts three spacious event venues for indoor ceremonies, ample seating and dining tables, room for a dancefloor, and a designated bar area. The Ranch is conveniently located near Cheyenne and easily accessible from highway i-80, with ample parking for all of your guests.
We do not possess a liquor license, however, lessees are permitted to bring their own wine or beer. Additionally, it is possible to engage the services of a bartending vendor for the benefit of your guests. Please note that the consumption of hard liquor is prohibited on the premises.
All three venues have picnic tables, tables, and metal folding chairs. Please consult with us to ensure you have enough seating for all wedding guests and if you need to rent decor and additional seating.
Wyoming Hereford Ranch offers a variety of options for wedding ceremonies. The scenic grounds provide multiple charming locations where we can set up arbors, chairs, church pews, and other decorations to match your vision. The Ranch can also hold the ceremony inside one of our three venues, where you can add your decor to create a magical atmosphere. Let your imagination run wild!
We will provide tables and chairs but it’s the venue renter’s job to set them up accordingly. We highly recommend that you have a designated person in charge of coordinating your event on the day of.
We can help with any questions your wedding coordinator or planner may have, but as the venue is rented to you, we will be on site but not interfere with your event.
It is your responsibility to leave the venue in the same condition as you found it. This includes cleaning up and disposing of all trash in the designated dumpster.
We will provide tables and chairs, but it is the responsibility of the guest to set them up in the desired arrangement and take them down at the conclusion of the event.. If you need the tables and chairs moved during the event, we suggest hiring a wedding coordinator to help.
